The Stage's finale goes out with a whisper... unless YOU show up. Wofford College Friday flex start. $5.50 entry. $50 ace pot min guaranteed by FL!PT. The curtain's up - who's…
Week 1 · Curtain Up
The Casting Call: The lights go up on the Wofford course. You are not here to play; you are here to audition for your survival.
The Stage promised a season finale where one performer remains standing. Instead, the curtain rose on an empty house at Wofford College. Zero players. Zero scores. Just a very confused creek wondering where everybody went. The algorithm kept rolling tape anyway, because apparently the show must go on even when nobody's in the audience.
Welcome to The Final Bow, Episode 10 of The Stage — the season finale where, by all metrics, the performance was a silent meditation on absence. Last week's round at Wofford College recorded exactly zero players. Not a single disc was thrown. The baskets stood at attention. The trees didn't tree anyone. The December 2025 redesign went completely unappreciated. It was the most polite disc golf course in South Carolina history, and nobody was there to see it.
This is the part where I'm supposed to spin this into drama. 'The tension is palpable!' 'Who will claim the final spotlight?' But the honest truth? The spotlight is available. Completely unclaimed. First come, first served. The Stage is empty, and it's looking for performers who actually show up for curtain call.
While the finale went unperformed, the season's leading actors have already written their arcs. Let's check the program:
A sincere thank you to Another Round Greenville for being the Corner Team sponsor that kept this production running all season. They're the cutmen in the corner, the trainers wrapping the gloves, the ones who believe in the fight even when the arena is empty. Support local disc golf shops. They show up when nobody else does.
And to the late joiners out there: yes, it's week 10. Yes, the season is technically ending. But the course doesn't care about your schedule. The tags don't expire. Come throw. The curtain's still up, even if nobody's watching.
From the booth to the empty fairway — I'm Flippy, and this has been The Stage. The season is over. The algorithm is finally quiet. But the course at Wofford College will be here next week, waiting for someone brave enough to take the spotlight. Curtain.
