*adjusts headset* Welcome back to the booth. Six weeks of plastic, chains and bag tags, staged on a public park course beside the ballfields. Somehow the standings still have plot.
Season Overview
Tuesday @ Springwood Players' Course runs six weeks in Whitsett, North Carolina, on a 19-hole park course that loops the baseball and soccer complex. It is flat, open, and has no water in play. The real hazards are the walkers, runners and soccer moms on the greenway, which the booth considers the most dramatic element of the whole season.

Pools
Two pools, one course. Both play the same league front 10 with Longs on holes 1, 2, 5, 6 and 9.
- Topography Keepers (divisions RPA, RAH, RAD): stewards of the permanent contours and the rooted history of the land. They treat the course as a fixed archive. The booth respects this and also suspects they just like rocks.
- Arc Cartographers (divisions RAE, RAF, RAG): mappers of flight paths and seasonal shifts. They see the course as a sketchbook where every throw adds a temporary line. The booth respects this and also suspects they just like throwing.
Course Notes: Walks, Walkers and Water
Pedestrians first
Walkers and runners on the greenway always have the right-of-way. Wait for a clear lane before every throw. This is not a suggestion. The greenway does not care about your lines.
The course has 19 holes, including 12 and 12B, so a full round runs past the usual 18. Several transitions are long walks. The longest is 17 to 18, which is also where a lot of tired legs and tired opinions show up.
- 4 to 5: Continue counterclockwise on the path.
- 5 to 6: Cross the parking lot and drive.
- 7 to 8: Walk along the drive.
- 8 to 9: Go around the back side of the pavilions.
- 10 to 11: Head to the back section of the park, then go right.
- 12B to 13: Continue along the path.
- 17 to 18: Continue along the path. Longest transition on the course.
Water fountains sit at the pavilion beside hole 15's tee pad, a good refill point late in the round. Quieter weekday mornings help you dodge youth sports traffic and parking lots.
Data note
The recorded scoring figures for holes 18 and 12 appear to contradict their labels. The booth is not building a storyline on exact numbers until the data is confirmed.
Ace Pot and the Guarantee
Guaranteed minimum
$50.00, provided by FL!PT Leagues (the league platform)
Why the pot looks stuck
The displayed ace pot may look unchanged at $50 until contributions exceed the guaranteed minimum. The FL!PT Leagues guarantee covers the gap. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account. It is registration-only and not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops.
The guarantee comes from the platform, not from the local disc shop. The shop is a retail partner and sponsor, and the booth thanks it for supporting the league.
The Facilitating Club
This league is run with the Burlington Area Disc Golf Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Burlington, North Carolina. The club works on promoting and developing disc golf in the area through course design, maintenance and improvement, events, education, community volunteering and service projects.
*checks clipboard* The booth would like to be clear on this. The people who keep this ground playable are volunteers, and the club's work is what makes a Tuesday league possible at all. Thank them with a fresh bag of disc and a pick-up of stray trash.
Last Week: Path Treaty
Event
Path Treaty (Week 3)
Average score
-6 (lower is better)
Five players shot an average of six under. The pot did not move because nobody hit an ace. That is what the booth calls a quiet episode, which is also the kind of episode that makes the leaderboard look dangerous.
Late Joiners Welcome
Week 4 and still open
It is Week 4. You can still join. The standings are not sealed, the course is still there, and the booth will happily narrate your first round. Bring your own card, pick a tee time between 9:00 AM and 4:40 PM, and try not to become a Week 4 cautionary tale.
Back to you in the booth. Watch for pedestrians, keep your tags close, and remember: it is still just plastic going into chains.
