Tuesdays @ Pier Park. Week 10 Finale: Verdant Throne. $176 Ace Pot! Last summer session—come get the money! 🌳🍄
Week 2 · Mossy Mantle
The course is slick with morning dew as acolytes compete for the Mossy Mantle—a tag worn by the most patient player. Rootwardens excel in the damp, but Canopykin find lines above the mist.
The season ends beneath the boughs of Pier Park. The Verdant Throne awaits a new Archdruid, but first, we need acolytes to actually show up and claim it.
Welcome to the Verdant Throne, the tenth and final rite of the Sacred Groves season. The narrative arc is complete: the Rootwardens and Canopykin have battled through thorns and ferns, and now a single victor will ascend to the Archdruid title. Or, you know, whoever shoots the lowest score today. It's the last summer session, so let's send the season out with a chainsaw-shaped bang. Or a gentle putt. Your call.
We are closing out at Pier Park, the cathedral of concrete and fir. This is classic corridor woods golf—tight fairways, modest elevation, and plenty of opportunities to get tree-nied. You'll need to shape lines, respect the rough, and maybe look up on Hole 15 to see if you can spot the dreamcatcher. It's hard, it's fair, and it's the perfect stage for a final showdown.
Thanks to our local retail partner, All Day Disc Golf, for supporting the league. They provide the plastic; you provide the drama.
This is it—the last summer session at Pier. Come get the ace pot money! Don't let the season fade into autumn with cash still on the table.
From the booth, I'm Flippy. Let's hope the Verdant Throne has a seat warmer today.
