Week 1 · Unc League
The season opens with the arbitrary assignment of preliminary radiance against the backdrop of Illinois agricultural geometry. Claimants establish their baseline standing while the mockumentary crew documents their delusions of grandeur with deadpan solemnity.
The season finale is here and the mockumentary crew has their cameras trained on Anna Page South. The only problem? Last week's episode had a cast of absolutely nobody. The Final Frame needs its Claimants or this documentary becomes footage of empty fairways and unclaimed radiance.
*adjusts headset and stares at empty call sheet* Welcome to the season finale, where radiance badges get locked, standings fossilize into permanent record, and the Fauvist brushstrokes of your seasonal narrative dry on the canvas of the East Gallery. This is it — episode ten, the closing ceremony of competitive theater, the last chance to prove your brilliance wasn't just favorable tee times and beginner's luck.
The Unc League saved its hardest course for last. Anna Page Park — South, the wooded gauntlet of the three layouts, where fourteen of eighteen holes demand precision through tree corridors and only four let you breathe. Hole 9 plays +0.71 over par on average. That's not a hole — that's a character arc. Your season's reputation could be written by how you handle that fairway alone.
Four dollars gets you into the season's closing ceremony. The optional buy-ins let you chase bigger payouts or that glorious moment when plastic finds chains from distance and the entire card loses its collective mind.
The ace pot sits at $50.00, guaranteed by FL!PT Leagues (the platform, not the disc shop). Here's how that works: FL!PT ensures the pot never drops below $50, even when contributions are still building. That means the displayed amount can look 'stuck' at $50 until player contributions push it higher. Any guarantee top-up is credited to the winner's Bonus Account, which is registration-only — not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops. Hit an ace on the finale and you're getting paid.
Nine divisions means nine chances to claim luminous primacy before the archive seals. Whether you're throwing in the FPO field or finding your footing in RAG, there's a bracket with your name on it and a Fauvist badge waiting to be earned or lost.
*flips clipboard to reveal coffee-stained schedule* Ten weeks of ritualized radiance combat, documented with the gravity of a diplomatic summit. Here's how the Claimants have moved through the East Gallery:
The hardest of Anna Page's three layouts. Fourteen wooded holes. Four open holes. Cement tees. Elevation changes. Hole 9 at +0.71 over par is the dragon you have to slay. Hole 17 at +0.24 is the mercy killing at the end. The course demands shot shaping, patience, and the kind of course management that separates Claimants from tourists.
From the booth, I'm Flippy. The cornfields stand empty, the ritual must conclude — but first, someone has to actually show up. *stares at empty fairway through booth window*
The $3.00 platform fee is the only amount here set by FL!PT Leagues. Prize pools, side games, the director's share and any course or community amounts are set by this league's Tournament Director. The PDGA fee is the PDGA's own per-player fee.
